From drought to drowning...
In April we had 14mm of rain all month. In the last 7 days we have had 110mm of rain - with 30mm today and 20 in the last hour. Keeping on top of the garden has meant dashing in between downpours to stake plants and catch up with mowing - the upside is that the garden looks fabulously lush of course!
We have a group visit from Cumbria Hardy Plant Society tomorrow and we are also running a plant stall at Arley Festival this weekend so we're in for a busy 48 hours. Thankfully the forecast is for today's storms to move on through the night - let's hope they are right...
